Experience in an inpatient setting is required, Med/Surg, Colostomy care, Accessing Ports, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, PICC line management, Heparin, Insulin, Chemotherapy Administration, Monitoring Chemotherapy, Surgical drains, Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Isolation Precautions, Wound Care/Wound VacCerts: Chemotherapy administration certification is required prior to startPREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP: CPI. Shift: NIGHTS; Unit will accept contracts from 13 weeks+ up to March 15, 2025 (hard stop) to get the unit through the holidays!RTO: 7 days MAX - NO CHRISTMAS RTO; 36 or 48 hours. If 48 then no OT billed until after 48.Call Requirement: Call required if called off on a prescheduled shift.Float Requirement: Floating required to similar units and alternate care locations with inpatients holding, such as inpatient holding in the ED, or any alternate medical patient care location.Weekend Requirement: *EVERY OTHER WEEKEND REQUIRED.Unit Specific Information
Primarily Medical Surgical patients with Oncology history and occasional Chemotherapy administrationSpecial Procedures / Unit Details: Daily Census 42.Additional Details
Contract staff will be assigned and expected to work a Storm Team and/or Hurricane Team. Consolidation to the Centralized Office mid contract may occur and the contract staff may be preassigned to units as needed.
