Job title: Quality TechnicianLocation: North RoyaltonShift: 1 st (Monday through Friday 7 am to 330 pm)(occasional OT)Salary: $20-$25 an hour based on experience
Responsibilities:Supports shift inspectors through measuring and testing product.Initiate and train inspectors on quality alerts.Provides shift inspectors training as needed based on Client's and/or RMA's.Conduct layered quality audits (auditing inspectors)Log inspection data and file lot traceability and inspection forms.Ensure inspection process books are consistent with ECN changes.Creates certificate of compliance and certificate of analysis records for shipments.Participate in Customer audit processes.Support PPM goals and scorecard improvements by providing data for reporting.Participate in Lean cell improvements and Kaizen events.Assist with FAIR's and PPAP's and new product introduction.Assist with WinSPC and other statistical software(s).Assists with managing and maintaining the Non-Conformance / Hold Area.Qualifications / Requirements:
3-5 years of experience related industryMachining/plastic injection molding experience preferredHigh school diploma, GED, or equivalent years of experienceAuditing, metrology equipment, and an understanding of formal problem solving are highly preferredKnowledge in ERP, statistical software, Microsoft Windows, and Office Suite.Ability to read and interpret manufacturing and tooling prints.Excellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organization, follow-up, and time management skills along with the ability to effectively multi-task.Ability to lift up to 40 lbsSpecific visional abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focusAbility to pass a preemployment screening
