QA Tester - API

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled API QA Tester with 10+ years of experience to join our team. The role involves conducting comprehensive testing of API developments to ensure smooth operation and alignment with client needs. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of API platforms, problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail, along with the ability to work collaboratively with development teams to maintain software quality.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and execute API test cases and scenarios.

•Work closely with development teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

•Identify, record, document, and track bugs to resolution.

•Perform thorough regression testing after bug resolution.

•Stay updated with new testing tools and strategies.

•Assist in project planning to identify potential issues.

•Develop software verification plans and quality assurance procedures.

•Ensure all tests are executed and provide regular feedback to the team lead on quality status.

Required Qualifications

•Proven work experience as an API Tester or similar role in software development (10+ years).

•Experience with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or similar.

•Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and testing methodologies.

•Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

•Good communication skills for effectively reporting findings and recommendations.
