Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation. Provides quality speech therapy services according to the principles and practices of speech therapy.SPECIAL SKILLS: Excellent customer service skills. Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, families and physicians.THE SPEECH THERAPIST FULL TIME DAYS CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING EDUCATION, LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS, AND EXPERIENCE.MINIMUM EDUCATION: Masters Degree from an Accredited Program in Speech Language Pathology.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: One year of clinical experience. Acute care modified swallow experience.REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Current Licensure in the State of Arizona.
