Description We have an IMMEDIATE NEED for an Associate Software Development Lead to provide leadership to our program and development team for of our mission critical Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) system. As an Associate Software Development Lead on this program, you will have the opportunity to provide inputs in guiding our efforts to building secure services and capabilities and utilizing cloud capabilities in support of an Enterprise cybersecurity program. The Associate Software Development Lead can expect to spend about 75% of their time supporting the Development Lead and Agile Development Teams (ADTs), with the remaining 25% dedicated to the research and development of new technologies and capabilities. Collaboration with the Dev Lead will be key to ensuring requirements are met with the highest possible quality standards.Responsibilities:Provide technical stewardship to the Agile Development Teams (ADTs).Define, document, maintain, and communicate processes, practices, security, and configurations (PPS&C) to guide the program’s SW DevelopmentResponsible for verifying code meets standards defined in the PPS&CEnsure SW Development environments and infrastructure meet development and test needsAssist the ADT to meet sprint objectives by ensuring technical challenges and roadblocks are addressed and removed.Ensure inter-ADT communication and dependency coordination occurs tied to execution of Program Increment Epics and Stories and issue resolutionInvestigate and determine resolution of development process / execution related issuesAssist program leadership in evaluation of technical personnel and determining ADT compositionMaintain documentation of the program’s software baselineCore Qualifications:Candidate must have BS degree with 12-15 years of professional experience; 10-13 years with Masters8-10 years of experience working in an Agile software development environment as a technical contributorMust have at least a Top Secret clearance and eligible for SCIExperience identifying issues and finding suitable solutionsExcellent written and oral communications skills, to include presentation of technical material to non-technical audiencesAbility to communicate with technical leadership, ADT leads, and release train engineer impacts to the ADTs to fast track critical and high priority efforts.Experience briefing customers and stakeholdersDemonstrated proficiency with Java, JavaScript, Python, or other modern programming languagesExperience with deploying, configuring, administering, and troubleshooting software (both custom and COTS/FOSS) in a Linux environmentExperience integrating custom code with 3rd party software products/platforms (for example, development of custom plugins for a commercial or open-source product)Experience with version control systems such as git or SubversionUnderstanding of DevSecOps concepts/tools, and how they would apply in practiceU.S. citizenship is requiredPreferred Qualifications:Understanding of SSL/TLS and PKI conceptsFamiliarity with one or more common identity and access management protocols/standards, just as OAuth, SAML, LDAP, SCIM, or OIDCPrior knowledge of (or experience with) the Oracle Identity and Access Management (IAM) suite (including OAM, OUD, and OHS), API Gateways, Apache web servers and/or proxy servers, and application servers is a major plusDirect experience with multiple of the following and a desire to learn the others:Database setup and integration, both relational and NoSQL (Oracle DB, MySQL, CouchDB)DevOps automation tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet)Source control and Agile development tools (Git, Maven, Jenkins, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence)Analytics and search engines (Elasticsearch, Splunk, Apache Solr)Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certification (e.g. Certified SAFe Agilist) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM)Clearance Requirements*Requires an active Top Secret security clearance upon hire and must meet SCI eligibility. Must be willing and able to obtain a polygraph within the customer’s timeline after hire.
