Accounts Receivable Specialist
for our pharmaceutical client here in Noblesville, IN. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.
Summary of PositionThe Accounts Receivable Specialist with assist the Accounts Receivable Manager with monitoring the receivables process as part of the Finance team. This position will be responsible for timely collections of receivables from our customers and following up with customers when payment is behind. In addition, there is a large amount of invoice clean-up required from a recent system transition. This will require digging into the invoice and responding to customers to help resolve any invoice issues.
Shift : 8:00 am - 5:00 pm M-FPay : $34-$36/hrOpportunity : Contract (6 months)Location : Noblesville, IN (hybrid - 3 days on site/2 days remote)
Essential TasksReview accounts on a weekly basis to assess aging and pursue collection of fundsResearch customer deductions and verify their accuracyResearch invoice discrepancies (price, quantity, other) with appropriate functional team memberExperience working with large distributors with significant remittance valuesAbility to understand payment behaviors and identify trendsProvide excellent phone and email etiquette while handling inquiries from clients regarding their accountsAssist in department process improvement & controlsMust maintain operational compliance with US and international requlatory agencies and guidelines (i.e. FDA, EU, HC, TGA, PIC/S, ISO, USP, NRC, cGMP, etc.)
Requirements/EducationBachelor Degree preferredThree or more years of relevant Accounts Receivable experience, preferably in the Pharmaceuticals industryProficient skills with Microsoft Excel and Word
