Controls EngineerA leading company in the area is seeking a
Controls Engineer
to support programming, troubleshooting, and system integration efforts. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with a focus on PLC programming, HMI systems with a hands-on approach to process control, safety, and optimization is essential.Key Responsibilities:
Design, maintenance, and troubleshooting of HMI systems.Programming, troubleshooting, editing, and maintaining PLC code (Allen Bradley, Ladder Logic, VISO).Modify and adapt programming languages to enhance system functionality.Develop electrical drawings and schematics for system installations and upgrades.Perform calibration, preventative maintenance, and refurbishment of instrumentation components.Conduct SCADA integration for remote communication systems.Install, calibrate, and integrate electrical and instrumentation systems.
Background and Skills:
Extensive experience with PLC programming (Allen Bradley, Ladder Logic), VISO, and HMI systems.Ability to create, troubleshoot, and modify electrical drawings.Background in HVAC is a plus.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or at least 8-10 years of equivalent experience.
