About the Opportunity
DMI, LLC is seeking a Functional Analyst Level 3 to join us.This procurement for a PeopleSoft Finance Techno-Functional consultant is a specialized role that requires acombination of technical and functional expertise in PeopleSoft Financials modules with a concentration of contract lifecycle management experience. This role involves working closely with business users and technical teams to implement,enhance, and support PeopleSoft Financials applications within an organization. WMATA currently uses PeopleSoftversion 9.1 for financial modulesDuties and Responsibilities:* Understand and analyze business processes and requirements related to financialmanagement, accounting, procurement, and other finance-related functions.* Subject matter expertise on PeopleSoft FSCM - specifically, e-procurement, StrategicSourcing (SS), and Supplier Contract Management (SCM) modules on PeopleSoftversion 9.1Configure and support PeopleSoft Contract Life Cycle managementintegrated systems, internal and external.* Support external supplier portal configuration, integrations to align with businessrequirements. This includes support of complete P2P process for day-to-day operations.* Work with WMATA program manager, WMATA Procurement Manager, and perform theday-to-day functions of coordinating functional infrastructure discussions and functionalsolution. Design, develop, and maintain SCM documents within PeopleSoft.* Develop and modify PeopleSoft applications using People Tools, People Code,Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and other PeopleSoftdevelopment tools.* Support integration of PeopleSoft Financials modules with other third-party applicationsto ensure seamless data flow and process automation.* Provide technical and functional support to end-users and resolve issues related toPeopleSoft Financials applications.* Responsibilities to include guidance and support to Procurement initiatives includingSBPO, Document management, analysis & assessment, Communication &collaboration, and policy compliance.* Support People Tools Project.* The CLM Functional/SME Lead will be responsible for providing guidance and supportin specialized functional expertise to support the certification application, review, andapproval process for procurement initiatives including SBPO (small businesses) seekinganalysis & assessment, Communication & collaboration, and policy compliance.* Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization within the PeopleSoftFinance applications.* Assist in data migration and conversion.* Assist with reconciliations, month-end, and year end close as needed.* Support financial audit requirements.* Conduct peer reviews and manage change management
Qualifications
Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field, Eight (8) or more years of relevant experienceRequired and Desired Skills/Certifications:8 + years of functional experience related to financial management, accounting,procurement, and other finance-related functions.* Configure PeopleSoft Financials modules to align with business requirements. Thisincludes setting up chart of accounts, general ledger, accounts payable, accountsreceivable, asset management, cash management, and other finance-relatedconfigurations.* Expertise on functionality of Contract Life Cycle Management and integration withinventory systems.* Support other WMATA major initiatives like ERP Modernization project.* Develop and modify PeopleSoft applications using PeopleTools, PeopleCode,Application Engine, Component Interface, Integration Broker, and other PeopleSoftdevelopment tools.* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Additional Requirements:Preferred Requirements:* Master's degree in computer science or a related field.* PeopleSoft certified.* Experience in working with third-party systems.* Experience in cloud-based PeopleSoft deploymentsMin Citizenship Status Required:
