Make your application after reading the following skill and qualification requirements for this position.This position is responsible for all the accounting functions for multiple partnerships and entities. These include invoicing customers, paying bills, bank reconciliations, recording acquisitions and sales, and preparing various monthly financial reports for multiple companies and the owners. This is not a remote position.

*Responsibilities** Establish files for new tenants, new mortgages, etc.* Review and update tenant leases for renewal and rent increases to ensure accurate billings* Prepare monthly billing on a timely basis and communicate invoices to clients/customers.* Post cash receipts to general ledger and analyze accuracy.* Analyze the aging report and contact clients/customers on past due accounts, NSF checks received and default on lease contracts.* Review and update monthly mortgage payments prior to posting to the general ledger.* Perform analysis of accounts and reconcile to general ledger.* Calculate CAM annual adjustments billable to tenants.* Have a thorough understanding of financial reporting and general ledger structure.* Communicate with the company owners on various financial matters.* Interface with other departments to verify transaction report data and resolve issues.* Meet all schedules and deadlines as established.* Provide other accounting and reporting support on an ad hoc basis.

*Education and Experience** Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from an accredited university.* Five years of accounting experience in general accounting (Accounts Receivable, Payables, Reconciliations and Financial Report preparation).* Must be proficient with MS Excel and enterprise-level accounting systems.* Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, meet deadlines and thrive in a fast-paced work environment.

*Preferred Education and Experience** Public accounting experience and/or CPA* Microsoft GP Dynamics or QuickBooks Enterprise Solutions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
