Overview
The Underwriting Technician will support the development, growth, and maintenance of the AmTrust Non-Profit portfolio of business by providing administrative support to the Non-Profit underwriting team.
Responsibilities
Setting up files for new and renewal accounts
Processing quotations, binders and policiesFulfilling endorsement requests and ongoing account maintenanceCoordinating and storing file documentationSupporting agents by responding to general questions regarding renewal status, endorsement status, cancellation status, billing inquires, commission questions, etc.)Soliciting renewalsExtending exceptional customer service to all clientsPerforming other functionally related duties as assignedProducing a high volume of work while maintaining consistency and quality of work product
Qualifications
Preferred 1+ year(s) as an Underwriting Assistant, ideally supporting non-profit and/or professional liability lines of businessHigh School Graduate or GED as minimum education requirements.Efficient, well-organized and self-motivatedAble to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced atmosphereTeam player with strong interpersonal skillsCapable oral and written communication skillsProficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and One Note)Able to learn, maintain and develop strong technical skills#LI-GH1#LI-HYBRID
