Cybersecurity Specialist

in support of Special Operations Forces Acquisition, Technology and Logistics' (SOF AT&L) Program Executive Office for Tactical Information Systems (PEO-TIS). PEO-TIS is composed of a team of relentless acquisition professionals who consistently team with government and industry partners to rapidly develop and field state-of-the-art sensors, C2, and specialized communication systems that enable the Nation's SOF Warfighters to win.

What you will be doing:

Interface with USSOCOM J62 for latest Information Assurance (AI) policy and guidance

Perform vulnerability scans and assessments

Remediate system vulnerabilities IAW STIGS and DoD policies

Generate Department of Defense (DoD) Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Process (DIACAP) Risk Management Framework (RMF) packages and collaborate with staff agencies to obtain required authorizations

Collaborate with and provide IA technical direction to the engineering team and non-engineer personnel

Collaborate with senior PEO personnel and other engineering and technical support as it relates to research and assessment of emerging technologies, system integration, testing and evaluation, and system architecture design in order to facilitate PEO fielding of material solutions to meet mission requirements

Consult with senior management and customers concerning IA projects

Work with XACTA, eMass, and other cyber tools as required to maintain IA packages

Work with Windows operating systems (OS) and servers, Linux OS and servers, and other operating/processing systems as required

Implement the Risk Management Framework in accordance with DoD processes, policies, and directives

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Networking, Network Administration, or Computer ProgrammingYears of Experience:

8 years of Information Assurance and Cybersecurity-related experience

2 years of experience in RMF, DIACAP, and DoD IA policies and procedures

Benefits:
