Volt is immediately hiring for Inventory Technician in Gardena, CA.As a Inventory Technician you will:* Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, locations, and movements within the warehouse.* Thoroughly document all inventory transactions and activities.* Coordinate the movement of inventory between different locations or departments, ensuring proper documentation and tracking.* Manage the receiving of incoming shipments, verifying their accuracy and completeness.* Inspect received items regularly to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.* Conduct regular cycle counts to reconcile physical inventory with recorded levels, addressing discrepancies.* Fulfill internal inventory requests accurately and in a timely manner.* Monitor inventory levels to initiate replenishments and reorders to ensure stock availability.* Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.This is a full-time opportunity Monday - FridayPay range $18-$24 per hourThe ideal candidate will have:* At least 1 year of experience working in inventory management, stock transfers, or related tasks within a warehouse environment.* Preferred; forklift operation experience, inventory management software.* Analytical thinking to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances.* A willingness to adapt and manage time efficiently to meet inventory management deadlines and operational requirements.* Strong organizational skills to maintain an orderly warehouse and effectively manage inventory locations.* Proficiency in basic computer operations, including navigating an ERP system for work orders.* Problem-solving skills to address issues in inventory processes and suggest improvements.* Collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams and meet inventory needs.* Capability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted, stand for extended periods, and maneuver comfortably in tight spaces.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
