Job Title: 3rd Shift- Assemblers- $21/hr-- Start ASAP
Job Description
Perform manual and mechanical duties to assist in operations of a variety of limited equipment and tools in the fabrication and assembly of foam and/or plastic containers. Duties include: operation of tools and equipment; reading simple prints, drawings and specifications.
Responsibilities
Perform a variety of simple fabrications and/or assembly operations.
Pick parts and supplies from inventory and as instructed.
Assist in setting up and operating cutting, drilling, saws, glue applicators, assembly tools, drill presses, hand tools.
Cut stock to proper dimensions and tolerances as instructed.
Perform gluing, taping, flame treating, and labeling operations as instructed.
Perform required masking and painting.
Review product specifications on simple jobs.
Perform required tests, visual inspections, dimension checks, etc.
Detect any out-of-specification conditions and notify a supervisor or manager.
Essential Skills
Experience with assembly operations.
Proficient in using a glue gun and tape measure.
Basic math skills.
Ability to read simple prints, drawings, and specifications.
Attention to detail in performing visual inspections and dimension checks.
Understanding of quality standards and safety precautions.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Comfortable working 3rd shift (10:00pm-6:30am) from Monday to Friday.
Willing to train on 1st shift for 4 weeks (6:00am-2:30pm).
Ability to work 2 hours of overtime daily and some Saturdays.
