Unit Specifics:·Number of Beds : 30 22 Acute Care 8Stepdown·Patient Ratios :6:1 on Acute Care 4:1on Neuro stepdown·Unit staffing description- (unitsecretaries and tech availability): 1 RN Charge is over all of 10 tower, 1-2Techs and a unit secretary.·Type of equipment: Acute Care side:Vital sign machine, high flow oxygen, chest tubes, suction, and variousdrips. All things stroke. Neuro stepdown: Vapotherm, Bipap, Trachs, titratingcardiac drips.·Documentation system: Meditech·Scheduling requirements: This dependson schedule, Weekends shifts are required.·Floating policy:. Experience nursescan float after orientation.·Patient Experience requirements: Bedsideshift report, personal connection, and daily huddle.Hospital Specifics-·Certifications:BLS for Acute Care BLS and ACLS for Neuro Stepdown.
