Travel experience and experience in Level 1 or Level 2 facilities are preferred. License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS (AHA only), ACLS (AHA only) Must-Have: - Strong background in medical patients and critical care- Ability to be flexible, critically think, and reason- Team-oriented and personable Job Description: - Care for ventilated patients and initiate/titrate IV drips (vasopressors, sedation, and paralytics)- Assist with intubations and line placement- Monitor critically ill patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, renal failure, myocardial infarctions, pulmonary embolism, and pneumonia- Work in a mixed acuity unit with both ICU and progressive care patients- Primarily care for progressive patients but will also handle ICU patients as needed- Utilize equipment such as Phillips heart monitors, Epic EMR, Pyxis, EKG machine, and Dopplers- Float to other ICUs, progressive units, and medical-surgical units with a patient ratio of 1:3 across all units- Participate in an orientation program that includes EPIC training and access, with one day of unit-specific onboarding Additional Information: - Working three 12-hour shifts per week with a greater need for weekend availability; weekday plus weekend assignment rotations available. You will never work alone.- Dress code requires Caribbean blue scrubs with approved colored jackets and undershirts in black or white.
