100% Remote role, must work EST hours. Our industry-leading consulting client is seeking an experienced PMO Lead to set up and manage a program management office (PMO) within Platform Engineering. In this role, you’ll oversee critical technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget. You’ll drive planning, execution, and accountability across high-impact initiatives while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $80 - $90 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Project Management

: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of key projects such as GenAI for IT, DLP Program, GitHub Copilot, Cloud Firewall Migration, and more.

PMO Framework Development

: Create governance structures, standards, and best practices to support effective project management.

Scope and Goals Definition

: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives and deliverables, aligning with strategic priorities.

Timeline and Milestone Management

: Develop and manage detailed project timelines and milestones to track progress.

Accountability and Performance Tracking

: Implement frameworks to monitor project performance and ensure initiatives stay on track.

Stakeholder Management

: Serve as the main contact for project updates, coordinating with Data, CPE, SIP, and BI&A teams.

Resource and Budget Managemen

t: Oversee resources and manage a $1.5M modernization fund to support project needs.

Experience Requirements:

Experience:

10+ years in program or project management, with 5+ years in a senior PMO role, preferably in a technical environment.

Tools & Methodologies:

Proficient in Agile, Waterfall, JIRA, Confluence, and Microsoft Project.

Technical Proficiency:

Strong background in cloud infrastructure, data frameworks, network security, DevOps, and/or software engineering.

Communication Skills:

Excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships and align technical teams.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
