AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic leader to fill this critical role of
Human Resources Generalist at Bryant University .

Duties & Responsibilities:
Actively participate in the recruitment, hiring process and selection of candidatesRecruit candidates from various resources, including job fairs, internet job boards, campus events, etc.Coordinate the hiring process to include, but not limited to, pre-screening, interviewing and reference checkingCoordinate and conduct team training including Sensitivity Training, Hospitality Training, Situational Awareness, etc.Partner with company HR leaders to ensure division and company practices are alignedMaintain and monitor relationships with union organized bargaining unit membersAct as the liaison between bargaining unit members and AVICounsel and advise management on policy and practice issuesConsult with client on human resource issues and resolve operating issues through established policies and proceduresCollaborate with other HR professionals at AVI corporate headquarters to ensure consistency of HR philosophy and standardsMaintain proper documentation related to training and disciplinary actionsKeep key human resources leaders apprised of critical operating and climate issuesActively participate in team member relationsAssist with payroll administration
Requirements:A Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management or Business Administration preferredFluecy in both English and Spanish in both written and verbal communication is preferredPrevious recruiting and human resources experience preferredStrong work ethicExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience in multi-unit food service operationsExperience in labor relations / union contract administrationAbility to multi-task in a fast-paced environmentFamiliarity with labor laws and generally accepted practices and proceduresProficiency in Microsoft OfficeBenefits:
