The Marketing Director is responsible for the development and implementation of strategies to strengthen the Nova Hospitality brands across the portfolio, as well as lead marketing development for consulting clients. This individual will oversee marketing services along with internal and external partners in the ideation, development, and execution of marketing platforms and campaigns. The Marketing Director will utilize data-driven insights to drive growth and profitability and will be responsible for providing strategic thought leadership.
At the heart of the role is a desire to bring our brands to life through innovative and engaging content, and ensure we deliver on the brand promise across every touchpoint. The ideal candidate has a strong marketing leadership background, is highly self-motivated and has the ability to align strategy, goals and objectives across all platforms.
Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
Provide the Marketing department with assured, confident, consistent leadership
Oversee strategic marketing, advertising, digital, social media, public relations and partnerships for multiple owned brands and hospitality consulting clients
Create and implement marketing strategy, including building comprehensive digital, traditional and social media initiatives, content marketing plans and go-to-market calendars, with a focus on delivering driving brand value and revenue growth
Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders to gain a comprehensive understanding of business objectives, consumer insight and vision to inspire high-impact marketing solutions
Ensure projects are delivered on time and on strategy
Work closely with the marketing, operations and creative teams to create and execute cohesive campaigns that support corporate goals through a consistent brand messaging
Facilitate weekly on-site visits with each venue
Foster continual development and growth of marketing team, working closely to establish process, elevate creative execution, and deliver work that is on strategy and within budget
Own relationship with public relations agency to coordinate all earned media efforts
Lead annual forecasting and ongoing management of marketing and creative budget
Manage the consistency and integrity of marketing communications across all touchpoints
Identify best practices to streamline and optimize internal process
Develop and implement comprehensive paid advertising strategy
Lead event ideation, planning and execution for large scale holidays and special events
Manage marketing strategy development for consulting clients, seeing the process through from start to finish
Qualifications:
7+ years related work experience in marketing and/or hospitality
4+ years of leadership experience in managing teams
Ability to work independently and within a collaborative environment
Proficient in keeping a balance of creative and analytical thinking
Proven expertise in verbal and written communication skills
Exceptional ability to interact professionally with diverse groups and adjust leadership style
Mastery in project management skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
Ability to demonstrate planning and organizational skills, with proven experience proactively managing multiple projects from inception through to execution and reporting
Detail oriented and self-guided individual who seeks clarification when needed and adheres to deadlines
