Job Title: Entry-Level Electro-Mechanical Assembler
Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented entry-level electro-mechanical assembler to assist in building large transformers. This role involves wiring, installing circuit breakers, contactors, sheet metal, and circuit boards. You will need to be familiar with wiring larger cables (2 AWG) and capable of lifting up to 25 pounds with the help of a harness.
6am to 2:30pm
$17/hr
Responsibilities
Follow work assignments, directions, instructions, and Work Order Schedule provided by the Production Lead.
Familiarize with wire gauges (AWG) and the use of terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors typically used for wire harness fabrication.
Review Assembly Instructions, Engineering Drawings, or Notes on the BOM (where available).
Use hand crimpers to create discrete wires and harnesses.
Assemble some electronics subassemblies to install harnesses.
Maintain a safe and organized work area/room/station.
Ensure that efficiency requirements and quality standards are met regularly.
Adhere to safety requirements and all safety policies.
Determine job order requirements following the production priorities.
Essential Skills
Experience with basic hand tools.
Familiarity with wire gauges (AWG).
Knowledge of terminals, pins, lugs, and connectors typically used for wire harness fabrication.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic production experience or an eager go-getter attitude - training will be provided.
