This position is classified as hybrid and will be filled in either Cumberland, RI. or Hartford, CT. Additional CVS office locations may be considered
Position Summary
The Manager of PBM Accounting will assist the Sr Manager in driving an accurate and efficient Month End Close for assigned responsibilities. Primary responsibilities include taking a lead and visible role in Working Capital Reporting & Analysis, Legal Entity Accounting, Audit support, related party Eliminations and reconciliations between segments. The Manager of PBM Accounting will also support the Sr. Manager and Director with ad-hoc projects in addition to cross-training with and acting as the backup to the Senior Manager and Manager of PBM Accounting. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background with the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the candidate should be able to work cross functionally in a large organization with ability to communicate effectively at all levels. The Manager of PBM Accounting will have a range of responsibilities including:
• Responsible for monthly and quarterly working capital / cash flow reporting and analysis, coordinating requirements with Treasury and Finance and having a visible role in meetings ensuring clear communication of working capital drivers, opportunities and risks.
• Oversight of the accounting impacts from the Legal Entity postings. This includes reviewing and approving monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, and analysis of results for pharmacy channels within PBM Accounting.
• PBM Network Accounting functions and special projects related to claims posting.
• Support various aspects of the Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable PBM Accounting close process including the working capital aspect.
• Support and manage requests from internal and external auditors as they complete the financial statement and internal control audits.
• Evaluate and propose process improvement and efficiency opportunities.
• Assist on special projects as needed.
• Accruals, analysis, forecasting, collaboration.
Required Qualifications
5 years of experience in a Public/Corporate Accounting function.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong Excel skills with a proven capacity to organize, manipulate and interpret data.
SAP experience a plus.
CPA preferred.
Education
Bachelor’s degree required OR equal relevant work experience
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$66,330.00 - $145,860.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
