Program Overview

This program immerses students into the daily operation of a contemporary media and technology company while working side-by-side with Comcast’s top innovators. The student becomes an integral part of the Comcast team working on creative, innovative, and thought-provoking projects within various business units.

Organization & Team Overview

The

West Division Finance and Business Operations team

is responsible for providing the financial and business operations support across all regional functions, including both Comcast’s Residential and Business operations.

Role Description

As a Financial Analyst, your role will be to act as a catalyst for growth to the business - by being a Storyteller, a Truth-teller, and helping our business partners See Beyond.

You will do this by:

Performing financial analysis, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting using a variety of financial data as well as creating and maintaining multiple financial models and plans.

Building strong cross-functional partnerships to achieve business objectives and drive execution excellence.

What are some interesting problems the student will work on?

As a Financial Intern, you will be working on:

A project supporting the enhancement of financial and business operations.

This includes gathering financial and operational data, partnering with cross-functional teams, analysis, developing recommendations, and presenting findings.

Be an integral part of the team and participate in team meetings and activities.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Independent analysis of business trends

Provides research and assistance to leadership in the development and design of new projects.

Presentation of finding to Senior Leadership

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of basic financial theory and business concepts

Ability to gather data from multiple sources, conduct analysis and create reports

Knowledge of fundamentals of Excel and PowerPoint

Strong work discipline and accountability

Ability to tell the story well - both written and verbally to non-finance audience

Preferred Majors: Finance, Business Management/Administration

Previous intern program participant or prior experience as Comcast intern preferred

Minimum Qualifications and Eligibility Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree from a United States-based college or university

Rising Senior only (must have a graduation date between Winter 2026 - Spring 2027)

Returning to degree-program (for at least a semester) after the completion of the summer internship (meaning, student must be returning to school for Fall 2025 semester before graduating)

Available to work 40 hours per week over the course of the summer program- June 2 through August 15, 2025

Authorized to work in the United States with no current or future sponsorship needs

Available to report in-person to the work location on the job posting (unless virtual offering)

Salary:

Base Pay: $25.00
