job summary:
We are seeking an Assembly Technician I who demonstrates exceptional attention to detail and precision in their work. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, aligning, and adjusting components within very tight tolerances while adhering to schematics and specification documents. Distinguishing Characteristics: Perform precision assembly tasks, ensuring alignment and adjustments meet strict tolerances. Follow schematics and specification documents for measuring, fitting, wiring, and soldering components to assemble units. Calibrate and test subcomponents and finished products to guarantee quality and functionality. Inspect produced parts for quality assurance, identifying defects and making necessary adjustments. Utilize standard hand and power tools, including precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, verniers, and dial calipers. Requirements: Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience of 1-3 years in a similar role is preferred. Ability to handle various tools and equipment including electrical and pneumatic drivers, wrenches, screwdrivers, hammers, and QA testing tools. Work Schedule: Monday through Thursday, from 6 AM to 4 PM. Compensation: Starting pay rate: $16.50 per hour.
