Job Summary:
The Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting department, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and corporate policies of both our KS and NV locations. This role involves managing financial reporting, leading the monthly close process, and collaborating with various stakeholders to support strategic financial initiatives. The position reports directly to the Sr. Director of Finance.
Essential Duties:
Oversee daily accounting operations, ensuring accurate recording of costs across multiple operating units.
Create new and maintain existing internal accounting policies and procedures.
Develop monthly and quarterly accounting reports for the management and executive teams.
Assist in loading and validating financial results into the company’s consolidation system.
Implement and monitor the month, quarter, and year-end closeout accounting schedules including preparation of monthly financial statements.
Collaborate with various auditors to ensure compliance with audit requirements and internal control policies.
Provide direction, support, and input on all accounting issues and matters.
Assist in the formulation of annual budgets and monthly forecasts and develop initiatives to improve the overall accuracy in these models.
General Ledger – provide support on general ledger and financial reporting during month end and quarterly close, reviewing company and divisional financial reporting, and tax reporting as well as manage corporate push down transactions.
Fixed Assets – support tracking of budget and actual capital expenditure spending, tracking of physical assets, understanding of depreciable lives, and lease accounting.
Accounts Receivable – support team with invoicing, closely monitoring cash receipts, reporting of sales, and management of collections.
Accounts Payable – support team with billings, monitoring of aging, and vendor relations.
Review of monthly account reconciliations.
Develop and effectively monitor and apply all internal control procedures within accounting and related areas, ensuring compliance with corporate policies.
Responsible for banking and foreign exchange transactions.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements:
To ensure the health and safety in the workplace and for the protection of our employees’, wearing PPE is a possibility and includes equipment such as a full Tyvek suit, safety shoes, gloves, safety glasses, face mask, and a full hazmat suit that includes a respirator.

Qualifications
Requirements - Required and/or Preferred
Education
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
Preferred: Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance or MBA
Essential Qualifications
Minimum of 8+ years of experience in full cycle accounting, multiple years in supervisory position
Proficiency in GAAP and IFRS standards
Demonstrated history of managing and influencing cross functional teams getting business results from those efforts
Advanced literacy with Microsoft Office, especially Excel spreadsheets and database functions
Knowledge of SAP (S4) or another fully integrated ERP system
Strong analytical skills for data analysis and financial reporting
Capable of handling confidential information in a responsible manner
Flexibility and multi-tasking capabilities
Highly organized and able to follow a systematic method of performing a task
Ability to work with domestic and international teams
Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
Ability to influence change without direct authority
Demonstrate ability to take initiative, successfully handle and prioritize multiple competing assignments, and effectively manage deadlines
Resilient, self-motived and able to work well under pressure
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work with domestic and international teams
