Our client is seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer with over 10 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Spring and Microservices, with specific experience in the banking or financial services sector, particularly in payment processing. This role involves new development as well as some production support, including rotational on-call duties.

Due to client requirement, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Rate: $65 - $70 / hr. w2

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities

New Development

: Engage in the development of new features and enhancements.

Production Support

: Provide support for existing applications, including incident resolution.

On-Call Duties

: Be available for on-call support every 6-7 weeks once up to speed. Log hours if called to resolve issues.

Payment Processing:

Strong understanding and experience with ACH payment processes.

Agile Methodology:

Participate in Agile ceremonies, including daily standups at 9am AZ time and 2-week sprints.

Collaboration

: Work effectively within a large organization, collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.

Experience Requirements:

: 10+ years of experience in Java development.

Frameworks

: Proficiency in Spring and Microservices architecture.

Industry Experience

: Previous experience in banking or financial services is REQUIRED

Payment Processing

: Must have experience with payment processing, specifically ACH. - REQUIRED

Support

: Ability to handle production support and on-call duties.

Agile

: Experience working in an Agile environment.

Large Organizations

: Proven experience working in large organizations.

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
