Job Title: Warehouse Worker - $19.50/hr - Miramar - 1st Shift!
Job Description
The warehouse worker contributes to the efficient operation of the warehouse by providing labor support to the Branch Office. Warehouse workers in this job perform a range of general and specific warehouse tasks that can be easily learned on the job such as receiving, stocking, assembling, staging, loading, and unloading products.
Responsibilities
Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
Order picking off paper sheets for next day's purchase orders/work orders to ensure that products are correctly assembled and ready for shipment.
Load finished product onto trucks (rice, flour, cups, packages, etc.).
Unload product from trucks, containers, and stock them in the designated area.
Responsible for quality control. Ensure that no damaged products are sent out, and no damaged product will be stored.
Operate within standard operating procedures.
Handle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.
Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.
Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills Needed
Experience working in a warehouse - must
Experience operating a forklift or pallet jack - highly preferred
Ability to work in different temperature-controlled departments (Freezer, Deli Refrigerator, and Room Temperature) - must
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Ability to stand on feet all day
Ability to follow written and oral instructions correctly
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Workers are required to rotate working in the freezer for an entire week at a time (one week per month)
Attendance is very important (call-outs need to be 48 hours in advance to get other employee coverage)

The typical work week is Monday-Friday (standard 40 hours per week) from 8:00am-5:00pm.
