Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a Senior Supply Planner specializing in SIMs (eSIMs and pSIMs), you will play a key role in the success of our Retail Wireless division. You’ll ensure the seamless availability of SIM cards essential for activations on our cutting-edge 5G network. This position requires strategic collaboration, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to optimize complex supply chain operations while aligning with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to gather demand forecasts, creating strategic supply plans for assigned SIM Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs)

Inventory Optimization: Drive purchase recommendations, maintain optimal inventory levels across all channels, and mitigate overstock or stockout risks

OEM Partnership Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with OEM partners, fostering collaboration and supporting company growth

S&OP Leadership: Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process, ensuring accuracy, transparency, and effective communication across all stakeholders, including executives

Reporting and Insights: Present inventory updates during weekly cross-functional meetings, contributing to alignment within the retail wireless team

Risk Management: Identify supply chain risks, develop contingency plans, and implement solutions to minimize disruptions

Process Improvement: Partner with internal teams to enhance supply chain efficiency and optimize planning tools and processes

Advanced Analytics: Conduct in-depth “What-If” analyses, refine solver parameters, and evaluate supply chain scenarios to support strategic decision-making

Root Cause Analysis: Diagnose supply constraints, identify root causes (e.g., material, capacity, logistics), and implement actionable resolutions

Supplier Relationships: Negotiate terms, manage supplier performance, and drive cost-reduction and quality-improvement initiatives

Industry Awareness: Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in supply chain management

Skills, Experience and Requirements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, business, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant supply planning experience

Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in advanced Excel functions for effective data analysis and reporting

Strong project management and organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize and manage competing deadlines

Analytical problem-solving skills and a critical-thinking mindset to address complex supply chain challenges

Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, enabling effective collaboration across all levels of the organization

Ability to be located in Denver, CO, as in-office collaboration is mandatory

Experience in the wireless or telecommunications industry, with an understanding of its unique challenges and opportunities

Familiarity with supply chain planning tools such as SAP, Kinaxis, o9, or Anaplan

Proven ability to extract insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies

Salary Ranges

Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $103,400.00/Year

The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location.
