Volt is immediately hiring for a Thin Film Coating Inspector in Charlotte, NC.
As an Inspector, you will:
Inspect uncoated and coated parts for cosmetic defectsClean and fixture all standard productsStrip coatings off all standard products with minimal etching rejectClean and maintain tooling after coating runsParticipate in the Housekeeping and Tooling rotationComplete all associated process documentationWork with process improvement teams
This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
High School Diploma or equivalentAble to work with small parts - visual acuity and manual dexterity skills are required for handling laser rodsAble to inspect parts using a stereo-inspection microscopeAble to operate equipment without supervisionStrong work ethic, positive attitude, and attention to detailWorking knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft WordStrong verbal and written communication skillsComputer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word are desiredRegular, punctual attendance is requiredUnscheduled overtime and/or shift flexibility may be required
Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
