The Quad City Steamwheelers are looking for energetic and motivated local college students for our 2025 Game Operations internship program. We take pride in offering fans a fast paced and exciting football environment and interns are integral in making this come to life. We aim to provide our interns with rich sports industry experience and help to prepare them for their future opportunities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Execute pre-game set up and tear downParticipate in sponsored elements and assist fans taking part in intermission activitiesAssist with post game jersey auctions and open skate when applicableAssist with game promotion planning, research, and executionGeneral organization of storage areasAssist Sponsorship and Ticketing department with various projects when neededPlan and attend community events and mascot appearancesSupport front office team through various office administrative tasksSkills and Requirements

Able to receive college credit for your internshipMust be able to work the majority of home gamesMust be able to work a 5-8 hour office administrative shift once every 1-2 weeksBeing able to stay on from the start of the semester (January) to the end of the season (July) is preferred.Must be able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidaysMust be able to work effectively with little to no supervisionMust be able to troubleshoot in response to challengesMust have excellent communication skills and act as a team ambassador with every interactionMust have excellent strong personal organizational skills

*Please note: Interns are paid for game day shifts, though office hours and community events are unpaid. This is not a remote opportunity, must be local to the Quad City area during the season.
