Job Description
The UW Technical Associate will support the Builders Risk Specialty underwriting team by compiling, analyzing and preparing data to assist in the underwriting process. This position will be housed in our Morristown NJ headquarters.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform all pre-quote work required by underwritingPrepare and run Catastrophe Modeling for accounts using RMS tools (Risk Browser)Process endorsements, calculate return premiums and additional premiums based on utilizing complex rate structuresIssue policies and endorsements within department standards with direction from UnderwriterPopulate account exposure information within proprietary database and regularly run reports on Builders Risk Specialty / Inland Marine portfolioComplete underwriting workbench with key account informationAssist in the preparation of quote and binder documentation as directedSupport other Inland Marine products if requestedMaintain logs and develop weekly and monthly reports for managementAssist with reports and presentations for the Inland Marine teamComplete projects as assignedMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and WordExcellent verbal and written communication as well as math skillsSolid customer service and relationship building skillsA proven team player with a drive to succeedStrong organizational and time management skillsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skillsBachelor's degree requiredRMS modelling experience a plusAbility to manage an irregular workload, in a fast paced environmentWhat C&F will bring to you

The annualized base pay for the advertised position, located in the specified area, ranges from a minimum of $50,900 to a maximum of $74,700. The actual compensation is determined by various factors, including but not limited to the market pay for the jobs at each level, the responsibilities and skills required for each job, and the employee's contribution (performance) in that role. To be considered within market range, a salary is at or above the minimum of the range. You may also have the opportunity to participate in discretionary equity (stock) based compensation and/or performance-based variable pay programs.
