Our thriving Orthopedic Surgery practice located in North Florida and South Georgia is hiring a full time Physician Assistant who specializes in Total Joint Reconstruction. The Ortho-surgery PA-C will be assisting the Orthopedic Total Joint Physician in all aspects of patient care.

Schedule: Full time Mon-Fri No Weekends

Position Overview: The Orthopedic Surgery PA-C will assist the Orthopedic Physician total joint reconstruction specialist in the patients' complete orthopedic medical diagnosis, pre-op, First Assist in Surgery and post-surgical treatment.

Making rounds and performing patient examsDiagnosing illnessesAssisting in surgeryOrdering and interpreting laboratory tests and X-raysPrescribing medicationsDeveloping and managing treatment plansAdvising patients on preventative care and optimal health practices
