A facility near Philadelphia, PA, is seeking coverage to meet the needs of an increasing patient volume. Near Philadelphia, PA.Practice Setting:
Inpatient, with no outpatient responsibilities.EMR System:
Epic (experience preferred).Schedule and CoverageWeekday Rounding:
Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 5 PM at one hospital per day.Night Call:
5 PM - 7 AM (phone consultations only).Weekend Call and Rounding:
Includes calls and in-person rounding both Saturday and Sunday. Weekend shifts run from Friday 5 PM through Monday 7 AM.Call Ratio:
1:5.Patient and Procedural DetailsPatients Per Day:
Hospital census averages 20-25 with support from 2 NPs and residents.Procedures Required:
Echocardiograms (including TEE).Nuclear Stress Tests.Vascular Studies.
Specialty Skills Needed:
Non-invasive cardiology expertise, including TEE and diagnostic imaging.RequirementsCertifications:
ACLS, ATLS, BLS.Licensure:
Must hold an active Pennsylvania license.Board Status:
Board-certified or board-eligible in Cardiology.Fellowship:
Required.Credentialing Timeframe:
Approximately 90 days (temporary privileges available for qualified candidates).Additional InformationSupport Staff:
Includes hospitalists, experienced RNs, and a team of 5 cardiology providers.Privileges:
