We are looking for an

Associate Designer

to contribute to the Design & Product Management team for various product categories from conception to production. In addition, they support daily departmental operations and ensure monthly KPIs are met. The ideal candidate is eager & adaptable with a can-do attitude. They're not afraid to jump into projects and collaborate with various teams throughout the organization.

The

Associate Designer

will report to the Director of Design while working closely with the Senior Designer, Senior Technical Designer & Product Management team.

Key responsibilities include:

Artwork creation for customer requestLab dip approvalsSample and artwork reviewsMeasure samples that come in various production stagesResponsible for tasking business partners in PLM and tracking KPIsSupport the execution of departmental objectives and initiativesEnhance collaboration and communication across different business functionsMeet monthly KPIs to ensure timely execution of tech packsReview product specifications in PLM for consistency of information and data. Work with cross-functional business partners to rectify information as neededCollaborate on new product development projects, including ideation, design board creation, pattern and print designsReview competitor product samples against current STC product assortment, identifying differences in features and constructionLog sample comparisons in competitive product database to inform total product line strategy and development projectsAssist in product development process, including sampling prototyping correction and final confirmation in product specificationsQualifications include:

Associate or bachelor's degree in graphic design, apparel design, or related field experienceStrong computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite as well as PLM or equivalentProficient in Adobe Illustrator and PhotoshopProficient in design principles and aestheticsStrong planning and organizational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detailA willing problem-solver who is determined to work together and find solutionsWhy work at Standard Textile:
