Position: Stadium Operations InternReports to: Director of Stadium Operations, Facility Engineer, and Stadium Operations Coordinators
The Stadium Operations Trainee assists in general facility operations and event management. The Stadium Operations Trainee reports directly to the Director of Stadium Operations, Facility Engineer, and Stadium Operations Coordinators.
Responsibilities• Involved with over 100 events during program• Game management and implementing event itineraries• Overseeing the Parking Staff of 20 and implementing Game Day Parking procedures• Overseeing the Amusements Staff of 10 and ensuring safe conditions• Assists with supervising daily operations, maintenance, and cleaning of a 10,000-capacity ballpark• Assists with developing annual budget and capital expense requests• Assists with Hiring/Supervising 100 seasonal employees across 7 different departments• Reporting directly to the Operations Manager concerning ballpark improvements, expenses, stadium incidents, employees, and special events• Daily cleaning, scrubbing, and other duties related to game day set up/tear down
Qualifications:• High School Diploma required; BA preferred• Superior organizational habits and ability to manage multiple projects.• The ability to thrive in a competitive, fun, fast paced environment.• Ability to work long hours, weekends and occasional holidays.• Ability to exert physical effort which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of objects and materials of weight.• Must complete a successful comprehensive background check• Flexible schedule: available January - October; able to work nights and weekends on non-game days as needed.
