We wholly own QINLOCK and all of our drug candidates with the exception of a development and commercialization out-license agreement for QINLOCK in Greater China. In addition to QINLOCK, we have identified and advanced multiple product candidates from our platform into clinical studies, including vimseltinib and DCC-3116.

Job Description
The
Staff Accountant
is responsible for ensuring high-quality financial information is created and used to drive decisions and operations. This position requires both Corporate Accounting and Organizational skills and will be expected to provide support to our dynamic and collaborative Finance Department through the processing of various day-to-day general ledger accounting and transactions, assisting in the month-end closing process, and providing financial analysis and performing other general accounting activities. This exciting role offers exposure to many areas of general ledger accounting and reporting, providing the right individual an excellent opportunity with our growing Company.
This position will report to the Associate Director, Assistant Controller, and work on-site at our Waltham, MA office. Deciphera expects a minimum number of three days a week on site, with flexibility as to hours on site on any given day to accommodate work/life balance. Specific days and times spent in the office should be determined in conjunction with your manager.
What You'll Do:Responsible for various month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes - including account reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and quarterly flux analysesResponsible for cash, investments, and fixed asset accounting in accordance with US GAAPInterface with the Accounts Payable (AP) and Payroll teams to ensure cash is reconciled on a regular and timely basisPartner with the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) team to ensure accruals are appropriateCollaborate with cross functional teams across the organization (e.g., I&T and Facilities, RPN, etc.), as needed, to gather information on contracts to determine the appropriate accounting treatmentPrepare audit/review schedules and interact with auditors for semi-annual reviews and the annual auditAd-Hoc accounting and finance projects as requiredQualifications
