Job Title : Construction Project Coordinator
Overview:We are looking for a Construction Project Coordinator to join our team, focusing on commercial construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, organized, and has a keen eye for detail, thriving in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting project management tasks, coordinating effectively between teams, and ensuring project documentation and execution are handled efficiently.
Responsibilities:
Assist project managers, superintendents, and field crews in developing and executing detailed project plans.Coordinate communication and material, equipment, and information requests between project management, field crews, subcontractors, and clients.Ensure accurate and timely processing and tracking of material orders, creation of purchase orders, and maintenance of project documentation.Participate in project planning meetings and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure project requirements are met.Manage submittal and close-out documentation, including tracking approvals, changes, and re-submissions.Oversee on-site rental equipment coordination and maintain updated documentation for change orders and RFIs.
Requirements:
Demonstrated proficiency in diagnosing and resolving electronic, mechanical, and electrical components relevant to construction projects.Strong organizational and project management skills, with a proven track record of supporting successful commercial construction projects.Comprehensive understanding of construction processes, including material ordering, subcontractor coordination, and documentation management.Ability to navigate and utilize project management software and tools effectively.Local and stable work history in the construction industry, showcasing a commitment to project excellence and team collaboration.
Preferred:
Experience in ensuring adherence to safety practices and identifying potential project hazards.
