Comcast Spectacor oversees the Wells Fargo Center and its major transformation project, the Philadelphia Flyers, the Philadelphia Wings lacrosse team, the Maine Mariners hockey team, the Flyers Training Center, the Seoul Infernos OWL team, and Spectacor Events and Entertainment, a growing live events business that has already brought successful, new events to the Philadelphia area. Comcast Spectacor is headquartered at the Wells Fargo Center (WFC) in Philadelphia, PA. The WFC, the 4th most highly attended arena nationally and 7th most attended in the world is home to 270+ events per year, including the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia 76ers, Philadelphia Wings, Villanova, concerts, and events. Job SummaryThe Marketing Department is looking for a creative and driven individual who has a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn. The Marketing Intern will have the opportunity to learn and work on marketing campaigns for the Philadelphia Flyers, Philadelphia Wings, and Wells Fargo Center. The Marketing Intern will also assist with game night marketing activations.Job Description

Core ResponsibilitiesCreate and assist with marketing plans and campaigns including taglines, messaging, and content.Assist in proofing all marketing collaterals - print, TV, radio, email, social, etc.Conduct extensive marketing research in the sports and entertainment industry and present findings to the marketing team.Conduct market research for market trends and pop culture amongst different demographics.Assist with theme night and promotional giveaway planning.Assist with the promotion of concert night activations.Work game night activations and special event promotions including theme nights and promotional giveaways.Write copy for marketing emails and newsletters including Kids Club, Season Ticket Members, and Group Sales.Must be a college sophomore, junior, or senior or a grad student.Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Salary:

Base Pay: $8.00
