The Investment Project Tax Interns will assist with our ongoing investment partnership project as well as exposure to tax forms and software.

On day one you will be paired with a tax supervisor or manager who will serve as a mentor and will provide support and guidance throughout your entire internship. Additionally, each intern is paired with a buddy, usually a tax associate, who has been through our internship program. Your buddy serves as an additional resource for you during the internship. Our leadership including partners and managers care that you experience growth during your time here. You will have the opportunity to interact with them, and they will treat you like a professional working at the firm.
Time Commitment
Our Investment Project Tax Intern Program is a full-time paid internship. Your availability will be discussed during the interview process. Our summer internship will begin in mid-May and conclude in mid-August. We recommend no more than one or two classes during your internship to ensure both your success in the internship and your schoolwork does not suffer.
Essential Functions
General
Reviewing tax source documents including Schedule K-1s from underlying investmentsAnalysis on tax return source documents such as: hedge fund K1, state K1, interpreting footnotes, and identifying foreign reportingRecording data from source documents into workpapers files to be used for preparing the tax returns related to the investment partnership projectBuild a working knowledge of tax forms and processesDemonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasksProactively seeking guidance, clarification and feedbackLearn about the Firm - get to know partners/managers, services provided, specialties of individuals, key clients and industries servedBuild communication skills: practice business writing (clear workpapers and emails), working with other professionals, and feeling comfortable in business situations.Required Education and Experience
Must be an Accounting major expected to graduate in 2026 or 2027.Energetic and team-orientedMust have the ability to multi-task and communicate effectivelyProficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel
Remote Work Internet Policy
Internet requirements for working remotely: We require an internet plan with the following minimum upload and download speeds for best connection: 200+ Mbps download and 20+ Mbps upload. Home Wi-Fi should be password protected.
