Data Integration Engineer

Mount Indie is looking for an experienced Data System Integrator to join our team supporting the mission-critical efforts with one of our premier Department of Defense clients.
As a data system integrator, the candidate should be able to combine various computing systems into a cohesive IT solution for an organization. They are experts at bridging the gap between different technologies to ensure that they work together to meet an organization's needs.
Job Duties:
•Participate in planning and leading integration projects.
•Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions.
•Identify and resolve system integration issues.
•Ensure data flows between applications and systems.
•Synchronize data systems to ensure interoperability between data sources.
•Provide expertise in data and metadata tagging.
•Implement Portfolio Management; oversee the integration process from start to finish.
•Work with a cross-functional team of specialists, including developers, engineers, and programmers.
•Conduct risk mitigation actions: identify key program risks and develop mitigation plans.
Required Skills:
•Active TS/SCI clearance.
•Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field is required for this position. An additional 4 years of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of the degree requirement. An Associate's degree and 2 years of relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of the degree requirement.
•8+ years' experience with the execution, project management and hands-on experience with integration tools and programs. This includes 2+ years of direct experience in leading and executing enterprise-wide IT solutions in the private or public sector. Experience should include Project management of technically and functionally diverse and complex IT Projects; Implementing detailed management techniques; IT solution architectural analysis and design; Software and system developmental and acceptance testing.
•5+ years of experience in programming languages and data structures.
•Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
•Knowledge of integration best practices.
•Ability to work well in a team.
