Job Summary
Business Services Manager: Classified Management, confidential position. District with 200 enrollment TK-8th grade. In-person, full-time position.
Under the direction of the Superintendent/Principal, perform a variety of highly responsibleand confidential administrative support services for the Superintendent/Principal and Board of Trustees. Duties include: planning, organization, Business Services operations and activities including accounting, budget, payroll, information technology, purchasing, custodial, maintenance and repair functions; responsible for AB 1200 to LACOE which allows them to monitor the fiscal solvency of the District. Report information to the Board on the condition of the District's financial condition and provide assurance of its fiscal solvency.
Desired Qualifications:- Progressive experience in public schools with school business administration, experience inschool budgets and accounting, contracts, and insurance in a supervisory position.- Knowledge of general accounting programs and LACOE BEST software programs for Budgeting (BUD, Financial (FIN) and Human Capital Management (HCM),- Knowledge of the CA Department of Education program applications for financial preparation with the Standardized Account Code Structure (SACS) and the online attendance reporting with the Principal Apportionment and Data Collection (PADC)- Strong working knowledge of state and federal funding sources and requirements- Experience with preparing state and federal annual reports: Estimated Actuals/Adopted Budget, First Interim, Second Interim, Unaudited Actuals, End of Year Reports- Bachelor's Degree in Business/Accounting, with Master's in related field (desirable)- Knowledge of California Education Code
