Regional Human Resources ManagerPosition can be based in Decatur, IL. Cedar Rapids or Clinton IA. or Columbus, OH.This is a full-time, exempt level position.
The Regional Human Resources (HR) Manager provides consultative support and partnership to the leaders and colleagues in the locations supporting our Corn operations, with focus to drive critical human capital initiatives and associated business results. This role leads a team of Plant HR Managers located in the facilities and is responsible for driving HR initiatives at the facilities they support.
This role leads activities and ensures successful achievement of objectives related to colleague engagement, workforce management, performance management, talent development, succession planning, diversity and inclusion, communications, and change management. The Regional HR Manager impacts overall business performance and colleague engagement by providing strategic, creative, and collaborative leadership across assigned facilities and positions. Further, this role diagnoses issues and opportunities proactively and takes necessary action to bring timely resolution.
To be successful, the individual in this role must influence operations leaders and build strong, cross-functional relationships. In addition, this person must have knowledge of the HR functions and associated HR policies, approaches, and environmental constraints, as well as relevant HR laws and regulations. This role is critical to ADM as it aligns HR strategy plans and helps leaders implement plans within specific sites.

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and work experience in a related field)AND 6 years of HR experience with increasing levels of responsibility WITH at least 4 years of experience -As HR generalist experience across multiple disciplines (e.g., workforce planning talent acquisition, career development) while interpreting and applying HR policies, procedures, programs and processesIn leadership capacity with or without direct report responsibilityIn a cross-functional team environment with exempt and non-exempt staffProficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and ExcelPreferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field2 years' experience working in multiple locations with remote teams1 year in leadership capacity with or without direct report responsibility3 years' experience managing a cross-functional team with exempt and non-exempt staff in union and non-union capacitiesExperience developing, adapting, and/or facilitating trainingExperience actively serving as a strategic business partner for other parts of the organizationRelevant professional certifications (e.g. Professional in Human Resources)Experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse line of businessWork Environment:
