Laboratory-based Investigator, Faculty SearchThe Department of Medical Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) and the Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) is inviting applications for an academic, wet laboratory investigator position focused on basic and translational approaches to cancer. The candidate must have an MD/PhD, MD, or PhD and a proven track record of outstanding laboratory research in cancer. Multiple opportunities exist for collaboration with basic and translational researchers in our team science-oriented program. The successful candidate is expected to develop and lead an independent laboratory and take an active role in the Department’s multidisciplinary activities.The position is based in both the Department of Medical Oncology at the DFCI and the Department of Medicine at the BWH and includes collaboration with other institutions affiliated with the Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center and Harvard Medical School.The investigator is expected to participate in Harvard University courses/workshops for students and fellows taught in the School of Medicine and supervise postdoctoral fellows and graduate students.The academic appointment will be at the Instructor, Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level at Harvard Medical School and determined by the applicant's credentials.
