$90,000 - $125,000 yearlyResponsibilities:
Represent clients in court to argue motions during legal proceedingsDraft correspondence, legal pleadings, motions, and briefsPreside over paralegals, administrative assistants in connection with keeping track of time records, reviewing client billing, setting up client meetings and completing client projectsConduct research and draft pleadings, briefs, and motionsIdentify client conflicts and determine case strategies with options for resolutionCounsel clients by assessing options and determining the best course of action for a successful outcomeQualifications:
Required Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school; representation of clients for at least 2 years a plusDecision-making, public speaking, problem-solving, interpersonal skills, and communication skills are a mustKnowledge of Microsoft Office programs is neededAdvanced computer skills working with legal research programs (Westlaw and Lexis) requiredMust be able to handle heavy caseload with little supervisionLicensed to practice law in Missouri and Kansas.No prior history of disciplinary complaints or prior malpractice claims.Ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience in family law or other civil litigation experience.About CompanyAt The Reynolds Law Firm, our mission is to ask, listen, and help solve our client's legal needs. Our office is very collaborative and technologically savvy. We are on a growth trajectory and looking to add motivated and growth-orientated team members.
We are located in Kansas City, Missouri (on the West side of the Country Club Plaza area) and practice primarily in the greater Kansas City metropolitan area (Missouri and Kansas).
