About the Role: As the Area Vice President, you will be responsible for driving sales in the North America Western region. Success in this role hinges on winning software solution sales, understanding the complex business challenges potential clients face, skillfully navigating their political and purchasing processes, and articulating the value of Sitecore solutions effectively to clients and prospects.
We seek a high-achieving individual with profound industry insights, capable of leading strategic go-to-market initiatives and providing innovative client engagement strategies to support the success of our customers' digital transformation. The Area Vice President of Sales will report to the President of North America Sales and will oversee a team of Regional Vice Presidents and Enterprise Account Executives.
Responsibilities
Foster collaboration across cross-functional teams and business leaders to formulate and execute a comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy that aligns seamlessly with the company's revenue objectives.
Establish, lead, and expand a high-performing Enterprise sales team in the West, steering their efforts to achieve and exceed the business's growth targets.
Cultivate robust C-level relationships within targeted accounts, engaging with executives such as CIOs, CMOs, CDOs, and other key stakeholders associated with Digital Transformation.
Assist Account Executives by actively participating in customer engagements to provide coaching, guidance, and support for their sales endeavors.
Establish a targeted and proactive partner ecosystem that is driven to advocate for the Sitecore platform within designated accounts.
Qualifications
A minimum of 8 years of progressive Sales leadership experience with proven track record of success in driving revenue growth and developing customer relationships in SaaS environment.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth software company with a proven track record for building high performing sales teams.
Entrepreneurial spirit / mindset with flexibility towards dynamic change.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent executive engagement, presentation, and negotiation skills.
An innate problem solver, an individual who embraces accountability and responsibility for their business while prioritizing a 'team first' approach to recognition and reward.
Demonstrable track record of successfully positioning & winning in the areas in MarTech space: marketing / customer experience / e-commerce / business analytics software.
