.JOB OVERVIEW:The Vice President, Business Development (VP, BD), will be instrumental in shaping and driving the revenue and growth strategies for Common Sense. As a key member of the leadership team, the VP, BD, will lead efforts to expand revenue-generating partnerships and spearhead growth marketing partnerships. This role requires a dynamic individual with deep expertise in media, entertainment, and technology, coupled with a strong track record in business development and growth marketing.The VP, BD, will be responsible for strategic oversight of licensing partnerships, business development, and growth marketing partnerships. They will identify new business opportunities, develop and execute growth marketing strategies, and collaborate both externally with partners and internally with cross-functional teams to drive significant revenue and broaden our distribution.LOCATION:

Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy, including setting targets, prioritizing emerging opportunities, defining our value proposition, and determining pricing. Prospect, pitch, and secure new strategic business partners. Oversee the structuring, negotiation, and closing of deals that increase the distribution of Common Sense brand and expertise.Partner Relationship Management:
Foster and cultivate strategic relationships across the media, technology, and education sectors. Build and maintain authentic relationships to ensure alignment and engagement with partners and prospects.Growth Marketing Partnerships:
Create and execute growth marketing strategies and partnerships to drive brand awareness, attract new partners, and enhance user engagement.Strategic Impact Analysis:
Evaluate the financial and strategic impact of partnership terms and make recommendations to optimize ROI. Provide insights and actionable recommendations on monetizing Common Sense Media's content.Team Leadership:
Lead and develop the partnership management team, ensuring high performance and job satisfaction.Marketing Alignment:
Collaborate closely with the marketing team to drive membership subscriptions and align growth marketing efforts with business development goals.Revenue Forecasting and Tracking:
Forecast and track BD and licensing revenue. Set quarterly and annual revenue goals in coordination with the CFO.
