JOB SUMMARY:This position will be responsible for the day to day execution of all marketing initiatives and management of the property VIP and General Marketing teams, as well as oversee the Entertainment Venue.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:In collaboration with all other marketing functional leads and VIP and Marketing POD leaders, plays a key role in the definition of the property marketing strategy including:Provide initial input for the development of property calendar builds, reinvestment matrices, and revenue builds.Serve as the property representative in dealings with other central marketing teams to provide recommendations and historical perspectives on prior results and efforts at the property level.Lead the on-site marketing teams to ensure flawless execution of marketing strategies at the property including the identification of ways to increase efficiencies or improve customer service.Maintain an accurate and timely accounting of all current and future marketing expenses for financial reporting.Coordinate with the corporate brand, advertising, and PR teams to communicate brand messages and develop positioning as an active partner in the development of the media plan, advertising messaging and on-property collateral.Comply with and uphold company expectations including Code of Commitment, policies and procedures and ensures compliance with industry and state regulations.Manage overall property communication surrounding promotions, brand building, food and beverage, hotel and any other front-of-house communication and is responsible for the complete, timely and accurate communication of all marketing programs to the property leadership and employee teams.Assist with the development and implementation of short and long-term strategic marketing plans involving events, tournaments, promotions, and entertainment and reinvestment strategies.Oversee that operating procedures, internal audits, regulatory compliance, and budgeted expenses meet performance standards.Direct a diverse salesforce with the goal of motivating and developing the finest casino hosts, each driven to provide exceptional customer service and build lasting relationships with VIP and hosted-level customers.Prepare annual business plans and budgets to ensure the appropriate focus and resources are in place to target and grow the revenue contribution from executive host business channels.Help prepare the annual marketing plan and budget that will help maintain and grow a strong local base of customers, cultivating an outer market and new business aligned with the business objectives.Work closely with department managers to develop marketing plans and strategies to grow revenue for their respective areas.Help coordinate and implement strategic alliances with reputable business partners creating greater brand awareness and financial benefit to Caesars, Virginia.Prepare contracts with various vendors, including entertainers, suppliers, charter companies, transportation, advertising services or public relations agencies or group or convention business.Be involved in the recommendation process for charitable contributions, sponsorships, vendor selection, and property initiatives.Focus on identifying emerging trends and issues.Identify and prioritize opportunities as they relate to marketing activities.Become a local and regional market expert regarding business marketing issues and make recommendations on short- and long-term strategies.Work closely with the General Manager to maximize the effectiveness of all marketing activities.Develop, recommend, and implement new special events & promotions while improving on existing activities.Develop and recommend entertainment strategies that are in the best interests of Caesars Virginia and give regular ongoing feedback to the General Manager regarding the reactions of the customers and prospective customers across all channels.Develop and direct the execution of strategies and programs to achieve revenue, acquisition, retention, and profitability goals.Direct database and direct response marketing, including monitoring print production, mailing distribution, and redemption rates and costs.Be responsible for the analysis and evaluation of direct marketing programs and the development of new strategies as needed.Be responsible for initiatives in player development related to marketing manager and casino host performance regarding customer contact, events, acquisition, and worth goals.Ensure all advertising and marketing communications are coordinated, support marketing plan objectives and are an effective expenditure of resources.Assist with public relations activities and campaigns to promote the image and awareness of the property in the community and geographic region.Routinely and periodically spot check subordinates' primary job responsibility tasks, tracking mechanisms and work to ensure compliance with SOP's and POP's.Complete performance evaluations, training guidelines/coaching & mentoring programs along with scheduling according to appropriate standards for all areas of supervision.Perform duties in accordance with property compliance and regulation standards as established by the VA lottery and the other governing bodies.Help direct reports achieve outlined goals and plans of action objectives by periodically meeting with and assisting staff with tasks and needs associated with the goals and objectives.Perform additional duties and responsibilities as necessary or assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Advertising, or related field and eight (8) years of experience in the management and administration of multiple Marketing functions within a casino/hotel operation.5+ years of senior-level marketing experience; ability to execute flawlessly; ability to serve as senior leader to VIP and Marketing teams.Extensive experience with property marketing within CET network, Marketing and VIP POD leaders, Senior management property team.Lead of Offer Analytics, VP of Development and Logistics; Other marketing leads (e.g., advertising, entertainment, national promotions).Any combination of education from an accredited college or university in a related field and/or direct experience in this occupation totaling twelve (12) years, including three (3) as the Director level, may substitute for the required education and experience.Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the Virginia Lottery.PHYSICAL, MENTAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS:Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand English.Must be able to tolerate areas containing secondhand smoke.Ability to maintain regular, predictable attendance according to schedule.Ability to anticipate and react to changes in planning assumptions and alter plans as
