Role Overview: We are seeking a
Digital Signal Processing Engineer
with expertise in radar systems and RF signal processing. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in developing algorithms, system performance analysis, and advanced signal processing techniques. The engineer will be responsible for the design, development, and optimization of radar systems and algorithms, contributing to cutting-edge projects within both commercial and defense sectors. Key Responsibilities: Develop advanced signal processing algorithms for radar systems, including detection, discrimination, and tracking systems. Perform system modeling and simulation to demonstrate key performance metrics for complex radar systems. Design and implement algorithms using tools such as MATLAB, Python, and C++. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze radar system performance, RF propagation, and signal chain analysis. Conduct RF signal analysis and develop efficient processing techniques for RF systems, supporting both hardware and software radar integration. Support system integration, testing, and performance optimization using real-world radar data. Qualifications: BS in Engineering, Physics, or a related technical field
(2+ years of experience). MS in Electrical Engineering
or a related field is highly preferred. Strong experience in radar signal processing, digital signal processing, and RF system analysis. Proficiency in
MATLAB, Python, C/C++ , with experience in GNSS and radar DSP algorithm development. Familiarity with radar systems integration and testing, including phased array systems. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is required to meet U.S. Government export regulations (ITAR). Nice to Have: Experience in
FMCW
and automotive radar systems. Knowledge of
MIMO arrays
and advanced AoA estimation techniques. Experience in
Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR)
algorithms and RF hardware design. Familiarity with SDR (Software-Defined Radio) and GNSS receiver algorithms. Benefits: Competitive base salary with the potential for equity.
