As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for representing our clients in insurance defense litigation cases.Responsibilities:Conducting depositions of witnesses and other parties involved in the caseDrafting motions and pleadings to be filed with the courtPreparing for hearings and trials by researching and analyzing case law and evidenceRepresenting clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trialsNegotiating settlements on behalf of clientsCollaborating with other legal professionals, including paralegals and support staff, to ensure the best outcome for clientsMaintaining accurate and up-to-date case files and documentationQualifications:Minimum of 1 year of experience in insurance defense litigationJuris Doctor degree from an accredited law schoolAdmitted to practice law in NYStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent written and oral communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize workloadProficiency in legal research and writingFamiliarity with legal software and databasesThis is a FULLY REMOTE position, however candidates must be based in the Albany, NY/Capital region area.If you are a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Defense Attorney, we want to hear from you.
