Uber’s regional marketing teams play a critical role when it comes to establishing deep connections with the markets and communities we operate in today. Representing the frontline of our business, regional marketers work closely with cross-functional partners (Brand, Content, PMM, Comms, Policy, Sales, and Ops) to bring our brand strategy and products to life in-market.In this role, you’ll be part of the Delivery B2B Marketing team and will drive event marketing strategy and execution efforts that align with the growth goals of Uber’s delivery business in the US and Canada (US&C). We’re looking for an events marketing manager to support the Delivery B2B Marketing team. This person will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution of B2B industry events, conferences, and trade shows. This is an end-to-end event marketing role with responsibilities that include strategic planning, creative development and execution, agency and vendor management, pre-/during/post-event marketing plans, budgeting, logistics, and more.Responsibilities

Develop and execute a holistic event strategy and plans for US&C events, ranging from marquee events to smaller scale event activations, in close partnership with cross functional teams.Manage B2B events from strategy through to execution, including conceptualization, messaging, creative development, execution and logistics, staffing, budget, and post-event measurement analysis.Engage with senior leaders and partners across lines of business and cross-functional teams to determine event priorities and goals.Take a customer-centric approach, understand the target B2B audience, and bring to life the Uber brand at events in a way that is consistent with our global brand positioning, B2B narrative, and product positioning.Negotiate with vendors, manage contracts, and ensure events come in at or under budget.Oversee event measurement and tracking, communicate the return on investment and impact of events, and own results reporting to leadership and key stakeholders.Manage B2B event calendar and understand timing of events across other Uber lines of business.Support ad-hoc regional event requests and logistics as required (managing incoming requests, shipping/handling of booth materials, consulting with local teams to provide event guidance).Partner with teams to build marketing plans for events, including developing pre-/during/-post go-to-market plans.Share event best practices and manage event playbook for local field teams.Qualifications

5+ years of event marketing experience, with a proven track record of driving quantifiable and measurable business results (ROI, closed accounts, leads, etc.).Ability to travel frequently to events as requested (US & Canada).Thrives on challenges and is not deterred by complicated/complex situations.Experience understanding the B2B marketing journey and fluency across the marketing mix - both in brand-building and direct response.Benefits

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$120,000 per year - USD$133,000 per year.You will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp.You will also be eligible for various benefits.Uber is proud to be an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
