The Human Resources Manager will be a key strategic partner to leadership and a valuable resource in collaboration with the Centers of Excellence in HR. The HR Manager will provide multi-state support and invaluable resource to their assigned business units.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition: Partners with the business leadership team to understand the business needs. Partners with the HR Centers of Excellence and HR Leadership to plan and execute the organization's human resource and talent strategy particularly as it relates to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning. Partners with the Talent Acquisition team for all staffing needs. Assists local leaders in talent acquisition activities for approved internship programs, campus recruiting, and, as needed. Also supports internal selection process for management positions. Supports workforce planning initiatives as directed by their manager. Compensation: Partners with the HR Centers of Excellence to analyze trends in compensation; reviews comp recommendations to ensure a competitive position and to ensure the organization attracts and retains top talent. Ensures that any local issues affecting compensation are communicated to the HR Center of Excellence. Onboarding: Recommend process improvement in onboarding practices in collaboration with the HR Service Center. Ensure all onboarding is done in line with company standards and that all new hires have a good onboarding experience. L&OD: Partners with Learning and Development to ensure programs and initiatives provide internal development opportunities for employees. Conducts training, coaching, and counseling in support of the deployment and early adoption of HQ or COE HR program roll-out. Supports succession planning, performance management, performance planning and other corporately driven talent management and OD/OE programs. Employee Relations: Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations. Functions as the HR representative in conducting escalated employee investigations in collaboration with the Employee Relations Manager. Escalates broader based issues to the roles immediate supervisor and/or the appropriate representative(s) within the HR Shared Services function on more complex issues. Warehouse HR Support: Collaborate with warehouse management to address specific HR needs related to shift scheduling, safety compliance, and employee engagement initiatives. Implement and monitor specialized HR programs for warehouse staff, such performance incentives, and recognition programs tailored to warehouse operations. Partner with Safety Rep to ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. Review audit safety results, training sessions, and safety drills for warehouse employees. Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and retention within the warehouse, such as organizing team-building activities, recognition programs, Wellness activities and regular feedback sessions. Oversee employee timekeeping processes, including monitoring attendance, reviewing timecards, and addressing any discrepancies in collaboration with payroll and warehouse management. Conduct regular reviews of workplace policies and procedures to ensure alignment with employment laws and company standards, providing guidance and training to warehouse supervisors and employees as needed. Other: Establish strong, collaborative relationships with business leadership and colleagues across HR, based on trust, credibility, expertise and business acumen. Collaboration across HR Centers of Excellence to solve complex problems at the highest level of quality. Ability to plan, implement, and track project deliverables and deadlines including clarifying objectives, defining scope, risk assessment, stakeholder management, prioritization, and forecasting. Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. Performs other duties as assigned. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred. A minimum of 5-7 years of human resource management experience with a mix of human resource disciplines preferred. SHRM certification preferred. Multi-state HR support experience preferred. Demonstrated expertise in multiple areas of human resources: recruitment, training and development, talent management, employee relations, etc. Demonstrated record of process improvement. Strong knowledge of Federal and State laws. Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, high-impact communication style. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate. Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems. Travel:

The salary range for this position is $120,000.00 - 150,000.00/Yr. Base salary may vary based on experience, role tenure, performance, industry, location.
