The ideal candidate is seen as a thought leader with a broad and deep understanding of IT infrastructure and asset-related business process concepts and able to drive the development of solutions to problems and critical IT asset management efforts, often for the most complex or difficult customer situations.Job Summary:Cask is looking for an experienced Business Solutions Consultant with a deep background in Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM), ideally gained in complex IT environments, such as an internal IT PMO or major ERP transformation. This role is for professionals with a robust understanding of SPM tools and processes and who have the insight to advise executive stakeholders on the design and optimization of portfolio-level business strategies. We are looking for someone with extensive experience in enterprise-level portfolio management and strategic advising, particularly with expertise in translating complex business requirements into ServiceNow-based solutions.Here’s what you’ll dive into:

Strategic Advisory on SPM:

Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by bringing advanced expertise in SPM and guiding portfolio-level decision-making, driving high-impact strategic outcomes.Advanced Business Process Re-engineering:

Lead workshops with senior client stakeholders to redefine and optimize business processes at the portfolio level, with an emphasis on holistic process improvement and alignment with long-term business goals.Bridge Business and Technical Requirements:

Collaborate with technical architects and delivery teams to translate complex business needs into scalable solutions on the ServiceNow platform.Develop Strategic Documentation:

Craft strategic roadmaps, high-level process frameworks, and executive-level documentation to support SPM initiatives and decision-making.Executive Client Engagement:

Engage directly with senior managers and executives to align SPM initiatives with organizational objectives, utilizing data insights to support long-term strategies.Data-Driven Insights and Analytics:

Leverage data and industry expertise to drive portfolio analysis, enabling clients to optimize their business structures and achieve portfolio-wide efficiencies.Enablement of Customer Success:

Support clients in envisioning ServiceNow's SPM capabilities and future-proofing their portfolio strategy to deliver value across the organization.Go to Market and Pre-Sales Support:

Work closely with account teams in the design of ServiceNow SPM delivery engagements and support customer demos/meetings to help prospective clients envision what it’s like to work with Cask.Here's what you'll bring to our table:Education:

BS or BA degree in Business or related field or equivalent experience.Strategic SPM Expertise:

7+ years in strategic portfolio management.Business Acumen and Executive Communication:

Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and advise on long-term business transformations.Financial Analysis and Portfolio Budgeting:

Skilled in portfolio budgeting, cost analysis, and financial modeling, focusing on portfolio-level impacts.ServiceNow SPM Proficiency:

Direct experience with ServiceNow’s SPM suite (e.g., Demand, Resource, Project, and Portfolio Management) with a focus on strategic configuration and optimization.Technical Collaboration:

Ability to work with architects to translate business requirements into platform-level configurations without managing individual project tasks.Organizational Change Management (OCM):

Solid understanding of OCM principles, ensuring smooth transitions for enterprise-level changes.Methodologies:

Familiarity with Agile, hybrid delivery models, and frameworks like SAFe, focusing on portfolio and program-level governance over individual project delivery.Business Process and Capability Mapping:

Ability to design and implement business process frameworks that support enterprise-wide strategy.This role is ideal for strategic portfolio management professionals with a passion for guiding business-wide transformations using ServiceNow. If your background is primarily in project management, this may not be the right fit. We are seeking a visionary who can partner with executives to shape the future of their portfolios. Also, preference will be given to candidates who already have the Certified Implementation Specialist certifications for Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) and Application Portfolio Management (APM).
